Last Box Thank You

Kris - Thanks so much for all the time and care you put into sending cards for my Task Force. I and several others always looked forward to the boxes - one Soldier in particular, SPC W, picks up the mail and she is always so excited to see the Operation Write Home boxes. She literally waits for me to come in and brings the box to me to open so she can pickout a dozen or so cards for her friends and family, which she fills out and sends that day. This box has a lot of thank you cards, so I am taking it over to our Chinook company - they lost five Soldiers in the much-publicized incident on August 6th that you must have heard or read about. My replacement won't be here for a little while yet, so I can't give you his information, but I will be sure to pass on your card to the incoming chaplain. Again, thanks so much for this service - any little thing that brings a smile or helps you forget where you are, even for a just a few minutes, is always welcome. 1LT A.P

Just wanted to express my thanks...I'm a pilot that works next door to the Chinook company that these cards went to. We share a common room which has lots of free stuff donated to both of our companies inside for the taking. I found a card appropriate to send my father and sent him a note recently. So very thoughtful of you....thanks so much! CW2 JB
