My husband has been deployed for almost seven months now. He has been touring around several bases in Afghanistan and email and telephones have been an unreliable source of communication for us. Two days ago I checked my mail and I had over 10 letters from him written on these beautiful handmade cards. On the back of the cards was your website. He was able to send me a card that had a kitty on it blowing out candles for my birthday. He sent me a card with pink hibiscus and a glittery green humming bird, and he sent me a card with a North Carolina lighthouse on it. I have kept everyone of his cards and am putting them all into a scrapbook. Thank you to everyone who volunteers and contributes to your organization. Getting homemade cards makes all of the difference. My husband would not have had access to writing materials if it were not for efforts like yours. The cards are exquisite, they are truly a joy to receive. Thank you for everything.
Warm Regards,
A Marine Corps Spouse

OOHRAH!!! Love to read letters like this... totally awesome!!!
Sooo cool. That's why I'm bustin' my buns to get some cards done for the April 1 Mother's Day deadline. Almost there.
How wonderful!
what a testament! Love to hear this :)

Makes me want to go make more cards right now!
THIS is exactly why we make them!!!!
ahh..brings tears to my eyes! I so love making cards!
Makes it so worth the pain and pressure to know that this is the end results and encourages the troops to write back, its hard for family waiting at home
Hey, a scrapbook even beats a shoebox! This is EXACTLY why I make and send card to OWH! It's so nice to know that they are doing their job. (the cards, that is)
