Thank you for taking the time to send cards for my Airmen

An email from an Airman in Afghanistan, dated 26 Feb 09:

Thank you for taking the time to send cards for my Airmen. They went to good use right away. I took it to our common area called the “Rec Tent” where many Airmen relax, play video games, watch movies, make morale calls home and use the computer.

There is nothing better than having the privilege to wear a uniform every day and represent the United States of America and all who live there. Only 1% of Americans will join the military and protect the 99% that do not serve. It is truly an honor to serve. I appreciate persons like you that support our Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airman and Coast Guardsman.
