It makes a difference in peoples lives

From a military wife, dated 22 Aug 08:

Just wanted to let you know how much our family appreciates what you do.

My husband is deployed to Iraq right now and has sent my children and I some of your cards. They are so special and I know he appreciates being able to send some nice cards to us. Thank you so much for what you are doing. It makes a difference in peoples lives. It’s nice to know there are still people who realize our troops are still over there. Your organization not only supports the troops but their families as well. Thank You!

Sincerely,

N.D., Wiesbaden Germany

My unit just received a box of cards

An email from a marine in Afghanistan, dated 18 Aug 08:

Thank you for creating and sending me the card that I am about to seal up and mail home. I appreciate not only your support to all our our armed forces, but also your talent - this card looks great.

My unit just received a box of cards and I anticipate that they will last us awhile; we are fortunate enough to have extensive internet access were we are located.

Respectfully,

Capt P.M., Afghanistan

Cards will make a positive impact

From an Army Chaplain in Afghanistan, dated 13 Aug 08:

I want to thank each of you for supporting our new ministry outreach to soldiers. Your donations/coordination sending greeting cards here for our troops will make a positive impact on them. I have attached a few pictures of our Greeting Card display and Bookshelf. These resources are maintained in our chapel here at FOB XX.

I have attached an address listing of our other locations and points of contacts there. Please feel comfortable in sending some cards to them as well.

Again, thank you for making a difference.
Respectfully,
CH W.D.

Chapel Card Depot

From a Navy & Marine chaplain in Iraq, dated 12 Aug 08:

I am enclosing a photo of the card depot here. It is not cute or glamorous, but it serves its purpose. The Marines and Sailors have a great choice of card to help send home. Blessings.

I wanted to take the time to thank you for the wonderful, handmade cards you sent to us. They truly have brightened our day here in Afghanistan, and help us find a way to stay in touch with our loved ones in a very creative way. The cards your organization has made are extraordinary. Thank you for thinking of us and for the effort to let us know that there are people back home thinking of us day in and day out. Best wishes to you and yours.

Amazed at the quality cards that you produce

An email from a Soldier in a JAG unit in Iraq, dated 03 Aug 08:

We have just received the latest batch of greeting cards from Card For Heroes!

I have shared the cards with my office, and we all looked through the batch. One of my Soldiers really appreciated the Peanuts cards! And another Soldier in my office is a true dog lover, so she took all the dog-related cards! I myself am amazed at the quality cards that you produce, and have selected a few to write home to my sweetheart.

It seems that you all spend a lot of time, efforts and put a lot of love into these cards. Most assuredly, we here at the JAG office appreciate your efforts and your kindness. Thank you very much, my fellow American!

Kindest Regards,

CPT E.A.
